We hope you will be able to be at our next event, the Burway Small Boats Head, which we are really looking forward to hosting on Saturday 24th October 2026.

This is an upstream race of approx 3000m, which will take place on Saturday 24th October 2026.

There will be 3 Divisions, starting at 10.00, 12.00 and 14.00.

Please Note – Competitors competing for the Fastest Scullers and Tom Barras Trophies must be in the 3rd Division.

Events:-

 1x for (W)J14 to (W)J18, Seniors and Masters and 2x and 2- for (W)J15 and above. 

Also, there will be 4x+, for (W)J13 and (W)J14

All events are available for Open/Women crews and there are Mixed events in many categories.

There will be prizes for each event winner (where 3 or more crews compete) and for the overall Fastest Female and Fastest Male scullers.

The Tom Barras Trophies will be presented to the Fastest Girl and Boy Juniors.

Tom started rowing here at Burway when he was 11 and he has had an incredible journey through local regattas to National Championships to representing GB at major events around the world. His major successes include World Cup Bronze Medal at the World Championships in a Single Scull in 2017 and then, in 2021, a fantastic Silver Medal at the Tokyo Olympics in the GB Quad, followed by a Silver Medal from the World Championships. There will be no doubling up within a division but competitors may enter all 3 divisions.

Events will be banded according to PRI where appropriate.

All entries via BROE2 and the cost is £20 per seat (no charge for coxes). All fees must be paid by Friday 16th October. No payments will be accepted on the day.

In the event of cancellation, we will make a full refund of all entries paid, so please do enter as early as possible.

Please ensure that all crews read and understand the Competitor Instructions and the Instructions for Marshalling, and that they are capable of rowing and turning, safely.
